SCAM AT THE HOTEL SPA!!! Do not go to the hotel spa. The Russian lady working there, Lena, is pulling scams to the tourists. She will convince you that you have a condition, claim she can fix it, and after a 5 minute job she will charge you a lot of money. You can read more about my experience below. The hotel itself is a 3,5. The staff is friendly, the food is good. Some rooms have mold on the ceiling. The beach is very nice, but gets very crowded. SCAM AT THE HOTEL SPA!!!! I went there for a massage and the lady told me I have a tilted pelvis. She convinced me that she can fix it by showing me before/after pictures of her clients. She took before pictures of my body by placing her hands in such a way to seem my body is crooked. Then she proceeded to glueing 4 small taps on my body and asked me to walk on place for 3 minutes - that was the whole procedure. After this she took the after pictures by placing her hands and fingers right to seems that everything is well aligned. I refused to pay 130€ for this, it was clearly a scam. She got mad, talked badly with my mom and almost called us stupid for not seeing the ,,miracle”.

The hotel is beautiful, close to the beach, or rather almost on the beach itself. The staff is very kind, the rooms are clean, they changed our towels every day, the meals are delicious, there is a large selection of dishes. The pool is also clean and great for swimming. The food in the cafe "Famous" is also excellent, and the cocktails are highly recommended. I would come to this hotel again.

We stayed at Vassos Hotel in Ayia Napa and were extremely disappointed with our experience. Considering the amount of money we paid for this trip, we could have had a much better vacation elsewhere, for example in Turkey, where the service and value for money are often much better. We booked a half-board package with breakfast and dinner included. What surprised us was that drinks were only included at breakfast. During dinner and throughout the day, every drink had to be purchased separately. The staff were also very persistent in trying to sell drinks. If a guest wants to buy something, they will do so without being constantly reminded. For a family of five, a single round of drinks could easily cost around 10,000 KZT, which significantly increases the overall holiday expenses. Another issue was the sunbeds around the pool. We are used to reserving good spots early by leaving our personal belongings there. However, the staff removed our belongings, explaining that the pool officially opens at 9:00 AM. This raises a serious concern: what if there were money, documents, or other valuables among those items? We found this practice unacceptable. We were also disappointed by the behavior of some staff members, who openly flirted with female guests. This is unprofessional and inappropriate for hotel employees. Another thing that stood out was the lack of awareness about Kazakhstan. Several times we were assumed to be Chinese, Thai, or Japanese. While some people may consider this a minor issue, it contributed to the feeling that guests were not treated with genuine interest or respect. Taxi services in Ayia Napa were also surprisingly expensive. Sometimes it even felt like the shorter the trip, the higher the fare. Overall, this holiday left us with far more negative impressions than positive ones. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. We will definitely not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel with my partner. The food was absolutely delicious, and we experienced very high-quality service. The staff were kind, friendly, always smiling, and helpful. The common areas, the pool area, and the sunbathing section were all clean and well-maintained. We would like to thank all the hotel staff for this wonderful 5 days — we will definitely return! We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were all very polite, friendly, and accommodating throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and it always smelled fresh and pleasant. The food was very tasty with a good variety of options, and there was also a nice selection of drinks available. One of the highlights was the location, right opposite Nissi Beach, with a beautiful view that made our stay even more special. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend it.
