We stayed at Louis Paphos Breeze for six days with our two children, one of them being 1 year and 10 months old.
Overall, there were positive aspects: the hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, many members of staff were friendly, and the cleaning ladies were especially kind and hard-working. We were also allowed to check in earlier, which we appreciated. I would also like to mention the gentleman from Nepal at the bar, who was very polite and welcoming.
However, our overall experience was unfortunately not as positive as we expected. The main problem was that there were ants in our room throughout the stay. They were crawling around the room and even on our baby’s utensils. Our baby developed small bumps on her hands, which looked like insect bites. For a family travelling with a very young child, this was unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable in the room.
The hotel is generally nice and the cleaning staff clearly do their best, but the buildings, furniture and some equipment, including the air-conditioning units, feel old and in need of proper renovation or replacement.
Communication before and during the stay was also disappointing. We asked about airport pick-up and drop-off, but did not receive a proper response after the reservation. I had to call the hotel myself and spoke with a lady who was not polite and made me feel as if we had too many requests. In the end, we had to organise the airport pick-up ourselves. We also asked again at the hotel about the transfer back to the airport, but as it was Saturday, there was apparently no option available.
We also could not use the free shuttle bus to the city, as it was full and other guests appeared to be given priority. This was frustrating, especially as we were travelling without a car and with a small child.
The most unpleasant part of the stay was the check-out. The day before leaving, I went to reception to ask about the check-out time and requirements. I was told that we could leave whenever we wanted. However, on the day of departure, at around 12:20, I received a phone call from the front-office manager asking, with a very unpleasant attitude, why we had not left yet and why we had not asked her in the morning about late check-out. I explained that I had asked at reception the previous day, but she kept asking several times: “When are you going to leave?” She also said we would have to pay 60 EUR if we wanted to stay longer.
The problem was not the 60 EUR. I would have paid it if the situation had been handled politely. The problem was the tone and attitude, which made us feel pressured and unwelcome. Because of this, we had to pack frantically, feed the baby quickly and leave the room feeling as if we were being expelled.
At check-out, we met the same manager, who continued questioning us about who had told us what, referring to her colleague as “the small, young girl”. This was unprofessional. I told her directly that, while most of the hotel staff had been very nice, her communication was the one thing that left a very negative final impression.
It is a pity, because many people working at the hotel are kind and hard-working. But the room issue with ants, the lack of reliable communication about transfers and shuttle services, and especially the attitude at check-out made the end of our family holiday very unpleasant.

We had such a wonderful time here during our recent holiday. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean, with great views and all the little comforts we needed.
Also the entertainers were absolutely amazing. My son loved it,we definitely gonna come back.

Service in the restaurant was fantastic, very friendly and always attentive to offering more drinks.
Our room was cleaned daily, fresh bedding, fresh towels daily and over all lovely and very spacious.
Main reception service was lovely too, very helpful and provided high levels of customer service.
We really enjoyed our stay, so thank you very much!

Hotel itself is great. There is a lot of space in the rooms that has been cleaned daily.
Terrain around hotel was also very clean and nice. Food was ok, while the sweet desserts where perfect. I can strongly recommend them.
The pool is shallow and for cooling down rather than for real swimming.
Staff were in general ok with some exceptions from the main lobby bar.
The worst think about the hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere.
There are a lot of modern buildings bought as investments but there is no real life around.
If you think about any entertainment outside hotel, you will be disappointed. There are not any shops, bars, or water sports. Just nothing. If you like to walk the only option is to choose promenade, which is a bit boring for daily activities.
Nearest beaches are a joke. Just few meters wide and not exceptionally clean.
Paphos has also nothing interesting to present. Archeological Park has just few stones.
The only option for people not willing to lay all day long by the pool is to rent car or scooter/quad. With that you can see really nice places with beautiful beaches or mountains.
Nearest quad and scooter rental company is 1,5km away from hotel.

Had a really enjoyable 4 night stay here!
We arrived soon after midnight and check-in was quick and easy.
Got to the room and there were cold plates of sandwiches, meat, cheese and salad left in the fridge for us (as the restaurant was closed) - much appreciated and made the very late arrival more tolerable.
Our room (198) was great. We chose a sea view room which had a view of the pool & sea.
Good size balcony with table and chairs. It was shady & cool until 10am then constantly in the sun until it set.
The bed was comfy and there was enough space to put clothes away, although if we were staying longer I would have asked for more hangers (sure they would have happily obliged).
The only minor issue with the bedroom was the lack of sockets by the bed.
Spacious bathroom. Plenty of room around the sink to store things, and the shower was powerful.
Living area was also good. TV (not many channels though, and only a few in English, not internet enabled so couldn't use Netflix). Also a table/chairs, a microwave, kettle, sink and fridge.
Good air conditioning (one in bedroom and one in living room). Safe was large and really easy to use (enough space for a laptop and more).
All the meals in the restaurant were great. Mix of hot and cold food with different selections every day. For the size of the hotel/restaurant it was quite varied and even fussy people (us!) could find plenty of variety.
We loved the fresh loaves/baguettes, and we really liked that a lot of the desserts were mini so we could try things we wouldn't normally have without feeling bad if we if didn't like them. Lovely selection of yogurt, mini biscuits, nuts, dried fruit, chocolate & marshmallows with every meal.
There's a QR code you can scan at the bar which lists the all inclusive drinks. Good selection of cocktails plus several non alcoholic ones as well, and plenty of spirits, coffees, slushies, ice cream and sorbet.
We enjoyed the banana and chocolate milkshakes!
2 pool areas. One big one, and an adults only pool. Plenty of sunbeds when we were there (but the hotel didn't seem very busy so no idea what it would be like at peak times). They also have lots of sunbeds on the grassy area by the sea so there are plenty of options.
They have various activities during the day (darts, table tennis etc.) but you can also go to reception to get table tennis bats/balls whenever you want.
The hotel is on the coastal path. Both directions are scenic but it ends after 2 miles to the North (at a lovely cafe called 'Imbiss Coffee', great for food and drinks and the most amazing complimentary homegrown bananas!)
To the South, you can walk all the way past the lighthouse to Paphos harbour (about 4.5 miles) and beyond.
All the staff at the hotel were really nice and friendly. Front desk, housekeeping, bar staff, people in the restaurant, no issues with anyone and they all served with smiles. Sorry I can't remember everyone's names but Mahmoud on reception was lovely!
Really loved that after checking out we were able to continue using all the facilities and AI food until we were picked up at 7pm, it meant that we enjoyed our last day much more than we thought was possible.
WARNING FOR THE FREE SHUTTLE!
Reception tells you to get there 5 mins before it leaves, but in reality people turn up well in advance, and they don't tell you it's a small 14 seater mini van!
We got there over 10 mins early and still didn't get on!
Very annoying as the first bus is at 11am and if we'd known it was so small we would have just walked ourselves earlier in the morning before it got too hot.
(There are public bus stops nearby, and not expensive but they only take cash)
However we randomly got the bus back from the harbour one day as we happened to notice it dropping off so we knew where to meet it (if you don't get the bus there it's hard to know where to get it from!)
Luckily it wasn't full so we got it back to the hotel.
Would happily recommend this place to anyone, and would definitely come back again.
